Barbados's Newest Restaurant Hot Spots
For such a small island Barbados really packs a punch when it comes to dining options. Visitors to Barbados are totally spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a restaurant now more than ever with the new crop of fantastic eateries that have sprung up this season. Of course, the old school classics are still some of the very best, you can't beat the beach side ambience at Lonestar nor can anyone resist the opulence of The Cliff, but the new kids on the block are well worth a visit too.
Here's our run down of the newest restaurant hot spots here in Barbados........
1.) La Cabane
French style meets Bajan vibes, La Cabane is a feet in the sand, glass of rose in hand kind of place. Relax on one of the swings at the bar, lounge on a bean bag, or sit at a table to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. Located on Batts Rock Beach inbetween Holetown and Bridgetown.
Enjoy the cool breeze, dine on a mouth-watering locally sourced menu and soak in one of the best views on the East Coast. It's so worth the drive from the West Coast for breakfast, brunch or linner (their term for a late lunch or early dinner). Situated above beautiful Bathsheba.
Chef Larry Rogers, the man behind the ever popular CinCin, does it again! Dockside offer bistro dining in a stunning waterside setting at the Port Ferdinand Marina, it's sophisticated but relaxed, a winning combination. Port Ferdinand is just past Speightstown.
4.) Blue Pineapple
Down on the South Coast this uber cool beach club is a fun spot for breakfast or lunch, the extensive menu will leave you totally spoilt for choice. Chilled music and Balinese inspired decor make Blue Pineapple hard to leave. Just off Hastings Road, look for the blue pineapples!
