Previously known in the late 18th Century as Anton Hall the villa is believed to have been built between 1735 and 1750.  The present owners have been very careful to preserve the traditional Barbadian style and original features of the time, including verandas, galleries, imposing exterior stairs, push out windows and jalousie shutters, whilst still transforming it into a luxury villa rental.

With its large entertaining rooms, spacious grounds and large swimming pool and bar area - Bellevue House is an ideal venue for large events such as weddings, incentive groups and family retreats.

Located just a short 10 minute drive from Bridgetown and some of the finest South Coast beaches, it also offers some lovely views across Bridgetown Harbour from the large wraparound verandas.  From the moment you drive through the imposing gates you are struck by the grandeur and grace of yesteryear.

The accommodation at Bellevue House comprises of the main level which features the entrance hall and formal living area with polished wooden floors and several antique peices plus the Master suite and 3 additional guest suites.  Each of these suites is air conditioned and three also have balconies.  The lower level has 2 further guest suites, a spacious family room and a study.  There is a Formal dining room which opens out to a dining terrace and lounging patio which overlooks the pool and deck surrounded by the lush tropical gardens.

There is also a separate cottage in the grounds providing a further 2 air conditioned bedrooms.
