Melissa is a great family villa in Barbados, offering a 3 bedroom main house and a 2 bedroom cottage with an enclosed garden and private pool, only a few minutes walk from the beach. Barbados is fabulous at any time of the year, with its white sandy beaches, shimmering blue Caribbean seas and some of the friendliest Caribbean people you'll ever meet.

Villa Melissa is located on the fashionable and sought after west coast in the parish of St James close to Holetown and a short beachfront stroll to luxury resorts such as Coral Reef Club, Colony Club, Royal Pavilion and Glitter Bay. A delightful, but very private Barbados Villa rental set in tropical Caribbean gardens in Queens Fort which provides access to the beach by way of its own path. Beach umbrellas and chairs are set up on the beach. 

Villa Melissa is an understated luxury Caribbean Villa vacation experience and can be rented in its entirety as a 5 bedroom Villa rental or alternatively as a 3 bedroom Villa rental by taking just the main house without the Cottage. As with many Caribbean Villas, holiday life is centred around outdoor living and soaking up the Caribbean atmosphere and the hospitality of the Caribbean Villa staff. Villa Melissa is no exception and comes with staff, a laid back butler Victor who focuses on ensuring you have a relaxing time and the warm and big hearted Maria who cooks and fusses over mouth watering meals to suit most palates.

A shallow free form pool wraps itself around the patio in the middle of picturesque gardens. The pool is particularly suited for families where children can be watched from the waters edge whilst sun bathing on comfortable loungers. Alfresco dining - all meals are taken either on the coral stone patio or can be taken by the pool. The house comes with an experienced cook who will prepare meals as and when required and especially for memorable occasions.

All of the five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans and a combination of King, Queen and twin beds to suit most requirements. The cottage is completely made of old coral stone and has 2 bedrooms with bathrooms, a kitchen and 2 patios - an ideal arrangement for two families or groups of friends. Being private and having a fabulous west coast location with the beach, restaurants and nightlife allows even celebrities to get away from it all. The staff are always at hand to ensure that your stay is both relaxing and enjoyable. The property also benefits from wireless internet for those bringing their own laptops to keep in touch and also a flat screen television and bose speakers for a film or music when escaping the sun.

New Service - Villa Melissa now provides a beach service with 6 beach chairs and an umbrella on the beach. Victor, the butler will also provide liquid refreshments as required.

Of course he is willing to cater to your needs but its truly his amazing spirit that makes you feel so comfortable. Patricia is truly a gem too..her warm smile is always there to greet you not to mention the delicious meals she prepared for us. Also Michele keeps the place spotless and was always asking if everything was ok. She even washed all our clothes the day we were leaving! Our prices are checked to ensure they are the best available, but if you do find one of our villas at a lower price, please give us the opportunity to compete.

What is included in the price of your villa?

• Complimentary water - sports including waterskiing, when villa is booked with Worldwide Dream Villas
• Complimentary water-sports
• Gas/electricity charges. (unless otherwise stated)
• Initial supply of cleaning materials
• Linen and most towels. (unless otherwise stated)
• Local taxes and service charges.
• Sole use of the villa accommodation as detailed on your confirmation/invoice.
• Staff - as stated in the villa description.

What is not included in the price of your villa?

• All meals
• Charges made for additional staff, childrens requirements or services.
• Gratuities.
• Private Transfers.
• Security/Damage deposit - This is an additional deposit requested by Worldwide Dream Villas 28 days prior to your departure. This deposit varies amongst properties from £500 upwards, therefore the required amount and the payment method will be presented on your confirmation/invoice. Any breakages or damages should be discussed and agreed with you before any charges/deductions are taken from your deposit. The remainder or the full deposit will be refunded once authorisation from the villa management has been received, which can be up to 2 weeks after departure.
• Some overseas Departure Taxes. (approximately £20 per person)
• Telephone Charges : Telephone calls made from your villa should, where possible, be made via the operator using a credit card or phone card. If you make any calls, the appropriate charges will be either deducted from your Security/Damage deposit. In some instances the owner/villa management agent reserve the right to hold onto the security deposit until the itemised bill has been received and required payment agreed, this may take up to 3 months in some destinations. Please request further information at the time of booking.
